Mella's Fudge
Company History and Background
Founded: 2005
Mella started making fudge with her mother at the age of 10, and started the business Mella's Fudge in 2005. The fudge is old fashioned crumbly buttery style fudge, and comes in a number of flavours, Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Dark Chocolate, Irish Cream Liqueur, Rum and Raisin and a seasonal Christmas Spice with Orange. Having won 3 star Gold in the Great Taste Awards for the Vanilla, the fudge has also won Gold Stars for the Christmas Spice and Rum & Raisin. The main ingredient is butter, from the local area of West Cork, and this is what gives Mella's Fudge its own particular award-winning flavour.
